Lebensbaum Organic Ground Classic 100% Arabica Coffee “Gourmet” offers a harmonious aroma and flavor. This coffee is made using only organic Arabica coffee beans from the mountains of Peru and Uganda. Grown at altitudes over 1000 meters in the shade of large trees, these organic coffee beans are naturally protected from the intense sun, slowly ripening to develop an unparalleled aroma. Lebensbaum has specialized in roasting the finest coffee varieties since 1933. Roasting the coffee beans slowly and in small batches at 233ºC for 16 minutes (with preheating) reveals a wonderful aroma. This method prevents burning, the formation of carcinogenic substances, and irritation of the stomach. In comparison, conventional coffee is roasted at temperatures of 500–600ºC, with an average of two tons of coffee beans roasted in about 40 minutes.
Lebensbaum coffee trees are traditionally grown among large shade-providing trees, which protects the soil and the diverse ecosystem. Producers select the highest quality raw materials on site.
