Ölmühle Solling cold-pressed organic Egyptian black cumin (Nigella Sativa) oil is unrefined and unbleached. The oil has a bitter, spicy, slightly cumin-like taste.
The plant is most common in Egypt and Syria. The oil is used to enrich the diet (about 1 teaspoon per day), in cosmetics, and in folk medicine. If you enjoy the taste of black cumin oil, it is suitable for seasoning salads, soups, and cold dishes. Due to the dominance of polyunsaturated fatty acids, the oil is sensitive to temperature. Do not heat above 90°C.
Conveniently packaged in a dark glass bottle with a spout.
